I'm an interdisciplinary writer, freelance content creator, and practice-based researcher with a background in arts administration and digital marketing.

Over the last 15 years I've worked with numerous independent businesses, charity organisations and individuals to deliver high quality bespoke and brand content across for diverse purposes and target audiences. Through this work I've developed expertise in advertorial and editorial copywriting, social media coordination, and content design for use across multiple channels.

My creative work combines visual, material and text-based forms facilitated by interdisciplinary writing practice. I hold an MA in Writing Poetry from Newcastle University (2020) and completed my practice-led PhD at Northumbria University in 2026. Straddling film studies and poetry practice, my doctoral research explores the affective, ideological and gendered dimensions of woman-led narratives in British horror cinema of the new millennium.

My debut poetry book, The Second Dream, is an intertextual exploration of Jonathan Glazer’s 2013 sci-fi/horror film Under the Skin (2013). It was published by Steel Incisors in March 2024 on the tenth anniversary of the film’s UK theatrical release. In June 2025 it was nominated for the SFPA’s Elgin Awards for sci-fi poetry.
